National News: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir has once again increased tension in India & Pakistan relations. After the death of innocent tourists in this attack, India has warned of strict action against the culprits and their supporters. In the 121st episode of his "Mann Ki Baat" program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the culprits of this attack will be found and punished, no matter where they are hidden. He also clarified that India will not tolerate terrorism at all and this time the country will not back down from any major step.
After this terrorist attack, there is a possibility of military conflict between the two countries, but experts say that if this happens, India's military and strategic strength will be beyond Pakistan. According to the 2024 report by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), India is more powerful than Pakistan in almost every region of military power.
India has bought the state -of -the -art weapons of about $ 20 billion from the US, France and Israel in the last five years. Due to this growing military capacity, India has now become more stronger than Pakistan.
According to the report, India has more than 12 lakh active soldiers, while Pakistan has only 5.6 lakh soldiers. Apart from this, the power of India's Air Force and Navy is more than Pakistan.
India's Air Force is also far ahead of Pakistan. The Indian Air Force has more than 730 fighter aircraft, including modern aircraft such as Rafael, SU-30 MKI, Tejas, MiG-29 and Mirage 2000. In comparison, Pakistan has only 452 aircraft, including aircraft like F-16, JF-17 and J-10. In addition, India's three -tier air defense system is more effective than Pakistan's limited and shorter -distance systems.
India has 3,740 main warfare tanks, including advanced models such as Arjun and T-90. Apart from this, India also has more than 3,100 infantry fighter vehicles (IFVs). At the same time, Pakistan has 2,537 tanks, which are far behind the strength of the Indian Army.
India's Navy is also more powerful than Pakistan. India has two aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines and a large warship fleet, while Pakistan's Navy has limited resources and is also behind the Indian Navy in the number of warships.
India's growing military strength and global support has become a cause of concern for Pakistan. Pakistan is now finding it difficult to get support on international forums. Examples such as Russia-Ukraine War and Israel-Gaza conflict have made it clear that no one is now opposed against weak countries. India has deep strategic and political relations with countries such as the United States, France and Israel, providing it not only military aid but also diplomatic support.
American intelligence agencies and Defense Department are discussing joint military schemes with India due to India's growing military strength. Now the Western countries do not make efforts to stop the war, but they are ready to cooperate with India. This has made Pakistan's situation even more weak.
Due to India's growing military and diplomatic strength, any military conflict over Pakistan can be overwhelming. At this time, India's situation is getting stronger internationally, which increases the possibility that India will respond to any terrorist attack or military crisis in a decisive manner. In the coming time, it will be decided that stability in South Asia persists or the situation may worsen.
